Convert PDF to an editable Word document

PDF to Word turns the text of a PDF into a Word document you can edit: paragraphs are rebuilt from the lines on each page, larger text becomes headings, bold and italic are kept, and bullet points become lists, with a page break for each PDF page.

Because PDFs store positioned text rather than paragraphs and tables, complex layouts (columns, tables, text boxes) are simplified. Choose “Editable text + page pictures” to add a picture of every page at the end, so you can compare. Scanned PDFs need OCR PDF first.

Privacy and price

Your PDFs are processed by your own browser (using the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries), so they’re never uploaded to us or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
