AI tools need a free account and are paid from bought exports or the Monthly 50 allowance (not Unlimited or free welcome credits), because every request costs us an AI fee. Before you start, you see the most a request can use; you then pay only for what Claude actually reads and writes. Copying and downloading the answer are included. The PDF’s text is sent to our server and to Anthropic’s Claude only to answer your request. It isn’t stored and isn’t used to train AI. See pricing.
Your PDFs are processed by your own browser (using the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries), so they’re never uploaded to us or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page. Trying the tool is free; each download uses 1 export (one PDF or one ZIP), and downloading the same result again within 24 hours is free. See pricing.

Need answers from a long PDF?
Chat with a PDFA transcript uses 6 exports per 30 minutes of recording (or part), taken when transcription starts. Each AI summary uses 6 exports plus 2 per hour of recording. Exports come from £1.00 for 5, or a monthly plan. Downloads are included, you always see the cost before you start, and if anything fails the exports are returned.
