The PDF Quiz Generator makes revision and training questions from your PDF: multiple-choice, true/false, short-answer or a mix, 5 to 20 at a time, followed by an answer key with explanations and page references.

Every question is answerable from the PDF alone. Check the questions before using them in a real test.

Price and privacy

AI tools need a free account and are paid from bought exports or the Monthly 50 allowance (not Unlimited or free welcome credits), because every request costs us an AI fee. Before you start, you see the most a request can use; you then pay only for what Claude actually reads and writes. Copying and downloading the answer are included. The PDF’s text is sent to our server and to Anthropic’s Claude only to answer your request. It isn’t stored and isn’t used to train AI. See pricing.

Privacy and price

Your PDFs are processed by your own browser (using the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries), so they’re never uploaded to us or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page. Trying the tool is free; each download uses 1 export (one PDF or one ZIP), and downloading the same result again within 24 hours is free. See pricing.

It’s paid per AI request: each request uses exports according to how much text the AI reads and writes, usually 1 export. You see the most a request can use before it runs and pay only for what it actually used; failed requests cost nothing, and copying and downloading the results are included. AI requests are paid from bought exports (from £1.00 for 5) or the Monthly 50 allowance.

Are the answers checked against the PDF?

Every question must be answerable from the PDF alone, and the answer key gives the page each answer comes from. Check questions before using them in a real test.

Is my information uploaded?

What you enter is sent to our server to do the lookup, and the result may be cached briefly so the tool stays fast. Nothing else from your device is uploaded.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install.
