Add a text or logo watermark to a PDF

Add Watermark to PDF stamps words like CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT or COPY, or your logo, across the pages of a PDF. Choose the position (centre, diagonal, top, bottom or repeated), size, opacity, rotation, colour and pages, and see a live preview.

Text watermarks use Western European letters. Picture watermarks accept PNG (transparent backgrounds look best) and JPG. Watermarks are drawn onto the pages; for stronger protection add a password too.

Yes. Choose “Picture” and pick a PNG (transparent backgrounds work best) or JPG. Lower the opacity so the page underneath stays readable.

Can the watermark be removed?

It’s drawn onto the pages, so it can’t simply be switched off, but someone with PDF editing software could remove it. For stronger protection, add a password too.

Is my information uploaded?
